Many individual support bookings have kilometre limits for travel with participants. These are in place to ensure we provide quality support and maintain an affordable service for participants.
If there is a kilometre limit, you will be advised by your supervisor and/or there will be a note in the booking. There may be a different limit for different shifts with the same participant and sometimes these limits change so please check the booking before your shift.
If, on the odd occasion, you need to travel further than the stated limit with the participant you need to get permission from your supervisor BEFOREHAND. A note on your timesheet is not sufficient reason for travelling more than the stated kilometre limit.
