New Lake Peer Support Ltd. is a not for profit organisation, established in 1989, and provides support to people with disability and their families and carers living in the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens and Lower Hunter areas. We support people to live life the way they choose.
We are committed to working with the people we support, their families, carers and other significant people in their lives to develop effective, highly personalised supports to suit individual needs.
At New Lake Peer Support Ltd., we use a person centred approach so everyone gets the support that is right for him or her.
We offer a broad range of support options, including, but not limited to, case management, respite support, day programs, transition to work, independent living skills training, personal care, supported living and social and recreational programs tailored to the individual needs of each person.
With our excellent community links, this helps to increase social inclusion and to make sure that people with disability have full access to the community resources, events and activities available.
New Lake Peer Support Ltd. is required to comply with both NSW and Commonwealth disability legislation. As a registered provider of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), the organisation is obligated to meet the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators.
